As a certified Christian coach, I am passionate about helping you overcome the challenges you face and discover a renewed sense of purpose, with God’s help. NOTE: I am not a health care provider or licensed counselor, but I am a Board Certified Christian Mental Health Coach (BCCMHC), Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC), and Life Coach (CPC). If you’re struggling to identify your purpose in life, I would be happy to help. Together we will work to uncover the gifts, beliefs, and emotions that make up who you are as an individual created in God’s image.
Online Counseling
I offer professional Christian coaching for teens and adult individuals. One of my goals as a Christian coach is to help you see yourself through God’s eyes – as loved, valued, and cherished. Together we will work to replace any negative labels you’ve believed about yourself with the labels God uses about you as His beloved child. We will take the necessary steps to overcome the barriers you face so you can accomplish your goals. In session, I’ll also equip you with practical tools to take home to help you grow and move forward to live out the calling the Lord has given you.
My Goal as a Christian Coach
I love to dream with others and help individuals make those dreams a reality. My goal as your coach is to partner with you to develop a strategic plan for setting and accomplishing goals that will enable you to overcome the obstacles you face and find lasting hope for the future.
What I Offer in Christian Coaching
I offer a compassionate, judgement-free environment where you can feel safe and free to share your story. In one of our initial sessions, we will create a vision statement and work together to identify and overcome any obstacles that may keep you from making your vision statement a reality. We’ll talk about dreams and goals, and seek to highlight occasions when God turned hardships into healing and hope.
My Approach to Christian Coaching
The Bible says, “The truth will set you free” (John 8:32). Without Jesus Christ, there is no truth and there is no true healing or freedom. With His help through Christian coaching, we can face the truth about the difficulties and hardships we have faced and develop a vision to heal and recover from those challenges, using the strength that He provides through the Holy Spirit.
Qualifications & Experience
I am qualified as a Board Certified Christian Mental Health Coach (BCCMHC), Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC), and Life Coach (CPC). I also hold a BA in Youth Ministries and I am an ordained minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers (NACM). I received my training and education from The Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching, Net Institute, Lighthouse University, and Pensacola Christian College. I’ve been counseling informally for 25 years (pastoral counseling and youth mentorship).
My Call to Christian Coaching
I spent 17 years as a pastor’s wife and also established a non-profit for youth in crisis. These two experiences opened my eyes to the trauma that people endure – no matter what age or stage of life. I am passionate about helping people break free from their pain to reach their full potential. This led me to pursue a career in professional coaching, with a special emphasis in mental health and addiction recovery.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
My husband and I have been married for more than 25 years, and we have four children. My interests include writing, exploring new coffee shops, and going on day trips, especially on a motorcycle with my husband.

Coaching for Teens
I offer a safe, welcoming space for teenagers to work through any challenges they are facing, process their hurts, and dream about their future. I love to help teens better understand their identity and figure out their purpose in this life, with God’s guidance and direction. Whether your teenager has been impacted by difficult family or peer relationships, trauma, divorce, bullying, or other concerns, I would be delighted to coach them toward a place of healing and hope.
Personal Development
If you feel stuck or you feel like you’re lacking direction, I would love to work with you to explore the possible reasons for those feelings and identify any obstacles that may be hindering you from moving forward. Together we will develop a plan to overcome those roadblocks so you can realize your dreams and accomplish your goals. In session we’ll work together to create a vision statement to spark inspiration and motivation for your next steps.
Trauma
Trauma – no matter when it occurs in life – can have lasting effects on many areas of our lives, including physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I will work with you to identify the ways in which you have been personally affected by past trauma and discover ways to rely on God for healing and recovery. Together we will identify any false narratives that may be impacting your thoughts and reframe that thinking based on God’s truth about who you are in Christ. Breaking free from the impact of trauma can lead to amazing results and help you live out your full potential.
Spiritual Development
If you’re struggling in your relationship with God or He feels distant to you right now, you are not alone. I am passionate about helping individuals reconnect with the Lord and strengthen their relationship with Him. Together we will explore what you believe about yourself, where those beliefs came from, and how you view God. We’ll discuss what it means to see God as a Father, Jesus as a friend or groom, and the Holy Spirit as a comforter and teacher. My hope is that through coaching for spiritual development, you will grow in confidence regarding your identity in Christ and discover and establish helpful spiritual habits.
Coaching for Addiction Recovery
Please note: To receive coaching in this area, you must be in counseling currently or have completed counseling.
Through coaching for addiction recovery, I offer accountability, additional support to counseling, help with goal setting and vision casting, and the opportunity to reignite your joy in a safe, judgment-free setting.
For family members of those struggling with addiction, we will explore the process of forgiveness, any unhealthy behaviors such as enabling or codependency, and how to establish a peaceful environment.
Parenting
Parenting brings countless joys as well as many challenges and heartaches. If you’re the parent of a younger child, I will help you understand your role as a parent and help you learn how to set a strong foundation, set healthy boundaries, and minimize adverse childhood experiences.
If you’re parenting teens, you may be wondering how to improve your relationship with your son or daughter. Together we can discuss topics like healthy boundaries, better communication, building trust, transparency, and setting an example.
No matter what stage of parenting you’re in, I would love to support you in your role and help you discover some practical techniques to strengthen the bond between you and your child.
